HOOKER, JOHN DOUGLAS
(J.D.), 88, of Orlando, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011. He was a native of Clewiston, FL, and son of William and Jewel Hooker. Mr. Hooker was a veteran of the US Navy and was a retired realtor. He was a faithful member of College Park Baptist Church where he proudly served as a deacon. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Palmer Hooker; sons Doug Hooker and Tim Hooker: daughter-in-laws Britta Hooker and Nancy Hooker; three grandchildren; and six great-grand children. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at 12 at College Park Baptist Church with a service beginning at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Robert Bryant Funeral & Cremation Chapel.
